In 2021, Potato Head invited me to stay. They gave me the Desa and asked me to photograph what I saw.

What I found was a place that rewards the kind of looking that doesn't know what it's looking for, the morning light moving across sustainable materials, the specific stillness of a space that has been designed to feel inevitable, the way people inhabit somewhere when they feel genuinely at ease. These are photographs of a stay.
